[DISCUSSION] ISO 20022 Coins – Are These the Future of Regulated Crypto?
#1
Hey everyone,
I've been going down the rabbit hole lately on ISO 20022 and the crypto projects that are supposedly compliant with it. For those who don’t know, ISO 20022 is the new international standard for financial messaging that banks, governments, and major institutions are starting to adopt globally.
And the interesting part, is some crypto projects are said to be aligned or compatible with this standard, which could mean they’re being positioned to work with regulated financial systems.
Here are some coins that i know usually come up in ISO 20022 discussions:
  • XRP (Ripple)
  • XLM (Stellar)
  • ALGO (Algorand)
  • IOTA
  • XDC Network
They’re sometimes called the “chosen ones” or the “bank-approved” coins — depending on which side of crypto Twitter you're on ?

? What I’m curious about:
  • Are these ISO-compliant cryptos really a big deal?
  • Will they get an edge when regulation kicks in?
  • Or is it all marketing hype and speculation?

What’s your take? Do ISO 20022 coins have a legit shot at becoming part of the next global financial infrastructure?
Drop your thoughts, links, or wild predictions below ?
